::
Our Atlanta based Datacentre operates a
single, highly secure, state-of-the-art Internet Data Center (IDC).
Located on the 4th floor of the 56 Marietta Street facility in the
heart of the technology sector in downtown Atlanta Georgia. This
building is strictly a carrier hotel and is the largest POP in the
Southeast providing access to most of the IP network providers
operating contenential United States. This facility basically serves
as the NAP for the Southeast without carrying that official title.
Locating our IDC in this facility has allowed Global Compass to take
advantage of the infrastructure already available in the building.

installed in the 56 Marietta Street facility. We have leveraged these
options to provide the best price and the network diversity required
to support a 100% uptime guarantee.

Each customer is provided a secure VLAN port on our Foundry
Big Iron 4000 customer aggregate platform. This platform provides
the features and throughput required to insure your data will be
transmitted and unencumbered by other platforms in the facility.
- Cisco 2500 GigE Switches
The gateway and customer platform are interconnect with Cisco 2500
GigE switches and run OSPF internally to insure all data
transmission inside Global Compass' internal network are performed
as efficiently as possible.

4 GigE circuits to 4 separate IP backbones insure Global Compass
can always provide functional ingress and egress to a Tier 1 IP
backbone.

to the Global Compass IDC from the Grady Hospital and Federal
Reserve power grids in downtown Atlanta. Should there be a massive
power outage in Atlanta the Grady Grid is always restored first.
